Investing In Education for a Better Tomorrow

The Lakeville Education Foundation, founded in the spring of 2004, is a non-profit organization managed by a volunteer Board of parents and community members. The project is designed to support and enrich the educational experience of students in the Lakeville Area Public Schools.

The Foundation is funded primarily by tax-deductible contributions from individuals, businesses and community organizations. The Foundation also intends to conduct an annual fund raising event designed to bring the community together in support of academic excellence.

The focus of the Foundation’s program grants will be on academic initiatives such as learning grants, scholarships, science fairs, artist in residence programs, as well as other educational opportunities that enrich student learning in the Lakeville Area Public Schools. The Foundation is independent from Lakeville School District 194 and its operating budget. Thus the Foundation will work with the District as a supporting partner to ensure that students are receiving the best educational opportunity possible.
